Justification for Technology Use

With the world of technology growing at the rate that it is, many students can say it has become a major part of their everyday lives. With that in mind, it would only make sense that we as teachers should make it a part of their educational experiences as well. Implementing the use of computers and other forms of technology when teaching can not only make the learning process easier for students, but also get them more involved. Students seem to be more comfortable researching information for themselves then they do in simply having to copy down what a teachers says aloud. The computer lab can give students access to many different sources of information, and programs such as Microsoft Publisher can let students have fun by showing off their creative sides. Technology in the classroom benefits the teacher as well, by making grading and reaching out to students easier.
